ABOUT THE DESIGNER
The Design Day Club is led by award-winning designer Cecilia Cortes-Earle. Cecilia is a creative director, surface pattern designer, educator, mentor, entrepreneur, and mom of 2 young boys.
Cecilia comes from a background in advertising and brand marketing working at ad agencies and in-house global nonprofit organizations. As a former National Geographic creative director she led and designed multiple K-12 education programs' brand marketing, events, and digital classroom resources.
She's founder and creative director of CC Design Co. in Washington, DC, where she currently collaborates with clients on brand strategy and design.
Cecilia is bilingual in Spanish and enjoys making things, traveling, and going to the beach.
